60 Minutes of hell

Last night's show:

• A piece intended to shore up the straight talk credentials and give him a platform to defend his Iraq posture which...didn't, but in which they make a point of showing McCain giving a speech in which he confounds the GOP by saying that global warming is happening, but insists that nuclear is the way to fix it.
• Guess what? A piece on the success of nuclear power in France. No mention that not a single private company has made a profit on nuclear power. One "alert reader" pointed out that every shot was reporter Steve Kroft and his interviewee walking down a hall, through a factory, etc. which, taken together, began to induce motion sickness
  
• A piece making this guy look swashbucklingly cool and his pusillanimous attackers whiny.

And then there's Andy Rooney.
