Star-crossed season

Ugh.

Chamberlain did not seem too concerned after the game, and the general feeling I got from others is that this does not seem like a serious injury. Don’t start thinking Brien Taylor or anything. But it’s devastating, for sure, to have three young ace-type pitchers (I’m also including Chien-Ming Wang and Phil Hughes) now unavailable in a pennant race.

The Yankees just can't get started this season, it seems.

Who knows, maybe Carl Pavano will make the difference in September. Aieeeeee!
