The Rapture

Reed Hunt's take on Nader is interesting. In his view (I think -- Hunt's not the clearest of writers), Nader believes two seemingly contradictory things: that the Democratic candidates are not ideologically any purer than the Republican and that the Republican candidate is sufficiently bad enough that he'll bring on Armageddon that much sooner (see George W. Bush), at which point everyone will finally realize that Ralph was right all along.

Hunt's surely right about one thing: Nader needs help, not publicity.
