If Abu Gonzalez resigns, the baby Jesus weeps

I had no idea that "Bong hits 4 Jesus" had become so seminal.

What is really behind the attack on Alberto Gonzales? Could the real reason involve his recent initiative to protect the rights of people of faith? Boy . . . I can see the hair standing up on the heads of the ACLU members after learning about Mr. Gonzales' meeting on February 20 with Southern Baptists leaders at the Southern Baptist Convention to discuss the "unrelenting" attack on freedom of religion, and what should be done, to preserve this inalienable right plainly covered by the First Amendment. It's a bunch of malarkey that the framers wanted to keep church and state in separate corners. They wanted to unite the two, so the country would stay stable and strong. They instinctively knew that every great nation needs a Supreme Being, so it can flourish, and grow in prosperity, as morality becomes deep-rooted.

Of course the atheists and agnostics already know this, otherwise the attack wouldn't be so fierce. But if they are to be successful in their mission to progress to a totally secular society, first they have to get rid of the obstacles standing in their way, and religion is their main enemy. Next, they view laws that hold them accountable for their actions as ridiculous restraints, and to them a real hindrance, along with other bothersome restrictions.

When the Department of Justice released their plan to strengthen and protect the rights for Americans to practice religion freely, the anti-God groups went bonkers.
And we atheists and agnostics called up our bitch, Nancy Pelosi, and told her to Get. Albert. Gonzalez. If it means some trumped up, oh-hum "scandal" like firing prosecutors for not pursuing false voter fraud charges or for pursuing Republican corrupution charges, then so be it.
