Yankee pitcher dies in plane crash

I remember reading about Corey Lidle learning to fly last winter, and how unhappy the Yankees were to hear about that given the team's history. Weird. Condolences to his family and to anyone hurt when the plane struck a highrise on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
