World Baseball Classic!
Yesterday's game featuring Cuba versus Panama was, indeed, a classic. Crazy fun you don't expect to be watching in March, so I thank Bud Selig (dental problems and all) for that.
A few thoughts came to mind as I watched the game's extra inning suspense:
1. How long before Yuliesky Gourriel is wearing a Major League uniform? The kid is unbelievable.
2. The Cubans have a player named Leslie Anderson? I would love to know his back story.
3. Does anyone else find it ironic that the sponsor of the scoreboard for the game on ESPN is Taco Bell?
