Just one game

But they count as much in April as they do in September. Last night's enjoyable spectacle wasn't a riveting display (I'm sure there will be plenty of 14-inning nail biters over the course of the next 18 games with the Sox). But I will take it. A little bit of the nasty taste still remaining from last October has been washed clean.

And if that is how Randy Johnson pitches when he's still not 100%, I think, in the words of Cliff Corcoran, that I am going to like this Unit fellow.

And Matsui -- who would have been a cinch for Series MVP had the Yankees not collapsed -- seems to have taken up right where he left off. MVPatsui indeed.
