Another slap in the face

At the risk of sounding callous, I am beginning to understand the notion of "battered wives syndrom." After blow after blow, Bush's choice for UN Ambassador has me feeling little but resignation.

But really, since Bolten has done such a fine job of keeping North Korea's and Iran's hands off nuclear weapons, he deserves this new perch, where he'll be able to sound off each and every day and do nothing to persuade members of the UN to, you know, act in the interests of the US now and then.
