Baucus chases his tail

Well, not really, just a couple of Republican votes on "health care reform," potentially at the risk of losing 10-15 Democrats. All in an attempt to present something as "bipartisan," even if that means no "reform" at all.

Reid and Durbin are beginning to understand, I think, that Republicans oppose health care reform. Period. Because passing real health care reform is a generational change that will hurt Republicans for years to come. Baucus, Landrieu, Bayh, and the other wankers need to understand this too, or else simply be pushed aside.
