Who lost Iraq?
Ah, so blame now falls not just on the Iraqi people, who can't seem to get their act together after we brought their country down around their heads, but on the fecklessness of the American people as well. Josh Marshall is positively shrill.
And, since tinker with the course is now "the plan," we can expect a whole helluva lot more of this kind of dishonest blame deflection from our punditocrats for the next two agonizing years.
And, in further news, we are of course not seeing a civil war taking shape in Iraq. We're only choosing sides for the mere sport of it.
