Recriminations and finger pointing

The great thing about the Democrats' victory in the midterms is that it gives Ad Nags a new lease on life. Bashing the Republican majority just wasn't his bag, but now he can go back to doing what he loves.

One would think that after their biggest electoral triumph in about a decade, Democrats would finally break their usual postelection syndrome — a November loss followed by recriminations, finger-pointing and infighting.

Well, think again.

The Democrats are celebrating their big victory of Nov. 7 with recriminations, finger-pointing and infighting, no matter that they won control of the Senate and the House for the first time since 1994.

Yes, clearly they're ripping each other to shreds on Capitol Hill.

But let's see who is the source of all of this "finger-pointing and recriminations."

“I would describe his leadership as Rumsfeldian in its incompetence,” one strategist, James Carville, said of Mr. Dean.

Carville is using the Democrats' victory to vault him back into the glare of the Sunday Morning TV lights. Ad Nags is lovin' it.

As Duncan Black would say, STFU.

My favorite part of the story: It's Lieberman's fault. Funny, I could have told Rahm and Chuck that three months ago, and warned them not to make deals with "The Last Honest Man."
