Cultural exchanges, political brush offs

I think it's simply wonderful that the Bush administration wants to open up cultural exchange programs with Iran. Maybe this is our table tennis moment. It seems to me, though, that it would be far helpful to open up a dialog with the country's leadership, especially when the former president is in Bush's backyard.
