The smell of napalm in the morning

Now, I don't want to get too triumphalist and all that, but damn, I love the way this smells.

If we needed any more obvious illustration as to why this is happening, I can’t think of a better one than Chris Matthews’ conversation today with Ole 60 Grit O’Beirne about political corruption on Hardball (Crooks & Liars has the clip):

The lefties got tired of watching the right work the refs with lies and inaccuracies; we're finally working them ourselves, and finding that doing it with truth and accuracy is starting to have an effect, however distracting the sound of Richard Cohen's plaintive sobbing may be.
