Inadvertent candor
The blogosphere seems a little slow today, perhaps in anticipation of the first big snowfall of the winter (and it's still Fall), so I ventured over to NRO for some "entertainment."
Uh, yeah, I think that's exactly the kind of thing they do on the Corner.

I didn't, of course, object to your finding a line of thinking "unspeakably horrible and inhuman." I objected to your characterizing Himmelfarb's thought in those terms when you had no evidence that she follows that line of thinking. You have offered no evidence that she does in any of your posts.
Making up views, attributing them to people on no evidence, changing the subject when called on it, suggesting that somebody doesn't "deserve" to have her views described accurately, and then claiming that this is just standard operating procedure: I don't think that's "the kind of thing we do on the Corner."
Uh, yeah, I think that's exactly the kind of thing they do on the Corner.
