"Open season on all of em"
Fascism on the March.
Sorry to trouble your otherwise serene day, Dear Reader, but it's always best to be aware of lunatics who think they're dangerous.
Two things struck me about this story: (1) the Bush administration is doing this quietly and (2) the ACLU is dead set against the new rules. I don’t understand why President Bush isn’t advertising the fact that changes are going into place to slow down or stop the flow of illegal aliens across our Southern border when he has to know the American people are fed up with this influx of illegals. And while we’re on the subject, why doesn’t somebody crack down on the ACLU and shut these asshats up. I, for one, am getting sick and tired of this commie organization protesting and filing lawsuits at the drop of a sombrero.
In spite of all that, there are still too many things wrong with this new development. The restrictions on capture and export pretty much limit what can be done if the illegals get over 100 miles across the border or can hide for two weeks. That’s just incredible bullshit. Does that mean that once terrorists sneak into the US and get far enough inside the country they can’t be grabbed and kicked out? And who really gives a damn about sage grass and why has this “environmental treasure” kept us from completing the fence in Tijuana? Grass is grass. We’ll grow some more somewhere else - break out the lawn mower and let’s get to work. Are the enviro-whackos and the ACLU driving everything in this country nowadays and if so when can we declare open season on all of them? [emphasis c'est moi]
