Makes sense. I agree with her that the U.S. suddenly switching places with the Europeans and playing the nice copy earlier this week was certainly unconvincing. And the timing is sooo right. Let's see. September 2006. Polls show weakening support for Republican congressional candidates, social security "reform," and Bush's nominee for the Supreme Court. A US-sponsored resolution holding Iran in non-compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty goes to the UN.
