Madame Cura perused this space recently. After a while she closed her browser, sighed, and said, "Your blog is too depressing to read."
I was stunned. Was it the Cassandra-like prophecy that BushInc. is intent on destroying the federal government, but equally intent on ruling over the ruins? Was it the increasingly shrill tones of the most moderate of Democrats these days? Was it the growing realization that Bush appointees and the Republican party have an interest in suppressing dissent and undoing the Establishment Clause? Or was it just the endless discussion of Barry Bonds's growing cap size?
