The Beastie Boys
What is it with the GOP and bestiality?
First there was little Rickie and his fear that, if not stopped, and soon, he will be allowed to satisfy his deep yearning for Rex.
Now, as Andy Sullivan -- ever-vigilant about keeping is plastron closed up tightly -- notes, everybody's favorite wingnut, John Cornyn (R-Tex.) has been expressing fantasies about box turtles in meetings with Washington sex clubs...er...think tanks.
Keep these guys away from the pet store. I'm not entirely sure that even the goldfish are safe from their lustful depredations.

"It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean it is right. . . . Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife."
-- Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), advocating a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage in a speech Thursday to the Heritage Foundation.
