Good government in action

I've always been told that the Senate is the dignified branch of the legislature -- the adults to the children who occupy the House.

Obviously, that's true, as they bravely drop action on a bill irrelevant to most Americans' daily lives and courageously begin debate on a bill addressing the most compelling issue of our times.

Um, is there supposed to be an election this year, or what?
