Howard Stern, great American

Salon has two articles today about the witch hunt attacking Howard Stern. Not only is he a free speech leader, according to Dan Savage, he's an important educator as well.

I'm no great fan of Howard -- though he was pretty likeable in his strangely likeable movie, and he's certainly better than the creep he competes with here in the New York metro -- but I'm also no great fan of having Right Wing Decency Squads force a popular voice off the airwaves.
