What condition my condition was in

Roy Edroso quote of the day:

He then provided no fewer than 18 videos of 9/11 archival footage, so that interested readers could, over hours of viewing, be inspired to Ace of Spades' level of outrage or PTSD, which he perhaps considers a precondition of patriotism.

It's like 9/11...and they couldn't be happier

The alleged Fort Hood shooter's alive, so presumably we'll learn his motives eventually at a trial, maybe even through investigative reporting (as opposed to rampant speculation). That's how we're supposed to do things in America.

Well, in my America. Not his, or theirs, or theirs.

The reason's simple, and the same as it was during 9/11: they think soiling oneself is a sign of patriotism, and consider those who pants are not full of shit to be traitors.

Baah

Roy Edroso files another dispatch from the land of Everything I Know I Learned on 9/11.

As, for these folks, the war is not the problem, so is ending it not a solution: only a better explainer, one who can penetrate the thick skulls of the sheeple with oratory, is needed. This is at once a hopeful and a grim vision: half a nation, at least, given over to treason, but tractable in the right hands. I wonder how long they'll be content to prescribe mere words to solve the problem?
