Mr. Kay's Broadway Barbership
Kay Demetriou, aka Mr. Kay, was my barber from around 1982 to when he retired, which would have been shortly after this film was made. Sitting in his shop and listening to his stories of starting in London before WWII and of his customers there on Broadway and 103rd was a physical connection to the past.
I got a haircut and a shave there (after a long wait) on the morning of Saturday, June 29, 1991. Happy anniversary, Madame Cura.
