Children left behind their ideology
Rarely do we get such candid comments from an administration budget tsar. They object to an expansion of a popular health insurance program for children for reasons that are "philosophical and ideological." Not that it's a bad program. Or that it costs too much. Or that it's unnecessary. No. Only that it's another perceived step on the slippery slope towards universal health care.
