It would never have occurred to me, but after reading Digby's trenchant analysis of Giuliani's potential appeal to the religious right -- an appeal that flies in the face of our conventional wisdom meisters, who must always append Giuliani's name with "liberal Republican" -- I now realize that the names "Amadou Diallo" and "Abner Louima" are actually positives for the bastard in the Republican primaries.
