I do find it odd when the WaPo's ombudsman claims that the paper's editorial board relies on sources "different" from its reporters for the information it bases its editorial on.

One expects such things from The Wall Street Journal, where the op-ed page is continuously at odds with the reality reported on elsewhere in the paper, but the Post?
