Not accountable
I know, I know. There must be other, way more egregious things to write about than the shooting scandal and the bizarre way it's being handled by Cheney's people, but I heard something on NPR this morning that almost made me drive off the road.
Paraphrasing, but pretty close...
This whole thing is like lifting up a rock, isn't it?

Juan "Wan" Williams: Because Vice President Cheney isn't running for president, he doesn't feel he's accountable to the American people.Williams, a regular on Fox News, is the closest thing to a mouthpiece for Republicans on NPR.

Hi, Vegacura,
Thank you for mentioning the NPR and Juan Cole's comments on the "accountability" problem. I can relate to being shocked with the news. Fortunately, you were able to maintain control of your car -- yeah!
My reason for being here to say "Hello" is to let you know that accountability is important -- and there's something that can be done. This is how it works: [ Click ].
The bottom lines it that a single state -- just one -- can issue a proclamation forcing the House to deal with this issue. There's more hear on what this is all about: [ Click ]
The States can force the White House to be accountable, and all you have to do is share the information with your friends and encourage everyone to contact their state officials to discuss this matter. It only takes one state.
Don't lose hope -- but stay determined: Accountability is possible. The states can compel the House to face this issue; if the states' leaders refuse to act, then the voters have nine [9] months to find new leaders that take their oaths of office and the rule of law seriously.
Best wishes!
