Election noise

The polls don't close in New York and New Jersey for an hour or so. But hopefully we will no longer be bludgeoned over the head with the ads for billionaires Bloomberg* ("greatest mayor evah"), Corzine ("I'm for everything that's good and pure...oh and my opponent is a greedy thug") and Forrester (Ex-wife: "Corzine was a bad husband and a bad father").

I'm sure living in the environs of Virginia and California has been no picnic either.

* whom, if you got your political news only from the teeveee, you'd think ran unopposed.
