Astros

I've enjoyed watching the Astros this past week (and, oh, how the 2005 St. Louis Cardinals bear an uncanny -- and unfortunate -- resemblance to the 2005 NY Yankees). There's only one problem...the possibility of witnessing scenes like this.

St. Louis starter Matt Morris was equally potent, except, that is, when facing Lamb, who before Saturday was 5 for 14 with 3 homers against Morris. Lamb's success against Morris helped sway Manager Phil Garner toward starting him. In the fourth inning, Lamb hit Morris's 2-1 pitch over the short porch in left field, breaking a scoreless tie and sending the 42,823 towel-waving fans - including the former President George H. W. Bush, who was caught smooching his wife, Barbara, for the Kiss Cam after the fifth - into a tizzy.

Um. Ew.
